Friendship is Magic and filled with Ponies

Vash wasn't sure what to expect when the offer came up to see old departed friends from the fleet. Well, seeing a friend of course, the hooves were just a bit unexpected as he suddenly finds himself landing in Ponyville.

Literally landing in Ponyville. He's really sorry about that cabbage cart he just fell from the sky onto. Talk about a dramatic entry for a new earth pony into town. Also loud as Vash's terrified scre---whinny can be heard from anywhere in town.

"Owowoowowow. That really hurt. Jeeze. A little warning would have been nice." It's not until after he tries to rub his sore bottom does Vash suddenly notice that his skin has turned red, there's a donut on his flank, and his fingers are no more.

"Oh crap."

Well, he's pretty sure he can guess who's world he's visiting.

"That you did~" And Pinkie still doesn't know he didn't mean it.

"How! Speaking of remembering and hearts, guess who else remembers!"

"Oh!" He shifts a bit as he realises he sitting rather uncomfortably on a half squashed cabbage. "Cheese sandwich? You both went home about the same time."

Got it in one! [She'll just lift him out of the cabbage cart now. And lay a decently sized sack of bits at Mr. Green's hooves.] In faaact there's a pretty big party we're planning now~!

[Vash doesn't mind the help out of the cart and grins apologetically at Mr. Green.] Sorry about that.

[He's only a little unsteady on his feet. Staying on all four, but occasionally bringing up a front leg now and then like he can't quite decided just yet if he wants to walk on all four or two.]

Oh, yeah? I didn't think either of your birthdays were coming up soon. Although I suppose this could be a different time of year than where we are currently in the fleet.

Heheheh, weeeell it's not a birthday. Although it IS gonna lead to quite a few anniversaries~~~

Pinkie! [His face explodes into a huge and honest grin as he nearly starts trotting in place with excitement.] Congratulations!! I'm so glad I got to come here to hear that!

Who's the lucky man-- [Mare? No, mares are the females I'm pretty sure... Oh!] --stallion?!

[Oh my GOSH, Vash, did you assume her special somepony's gender-- nah, he's good, and it helps that Cheese IS a stallion.]

[Vash grins and shrugs.] It seemed a bit rude to assume. [Just in case he was wrong.] It's Cheese isn't it?

It IS Cheese~! We through a HUGE party together when we got back and then after we'd wrapped everything up and were heading home for the night he proposed! It was the sweetest thing EVER, Vash!

Proposing after a great party? I wouldn't have expected anything less from one of the best two party ponies I know.

Heeheehee, we're the ONLY two party ponies you know, silly! Uuunless the Fleet brought in OTHER party ponies after we left?

Well, no, they didn't but it still doesn't change the fact that you two are my favorites!

Phew, to both! I mean it'd be nice if somepony-- er, someBODY else was picking up the party slack, buuut I also don't want the Atroma taking more of my friends from here too!

[She gives Vash another nuzzle as they walk.] And I'm also glad we're still your favorites!

Well, to be honest even if another party pony did show up I don't think any of them could take over you in my favorite spot. [Vash returns the nuzzle but is quickly distracted looking around Ponyville.]

I can see why people would be disappointed to be on the ships now. Your home is beautiful! [He's nothing but smiles. Look at all the green! And the flowers! Look at that beautiful sky with only one sun!]

[Would learning that a lot of this is run by pony magic put a damper on things, ESPECIALLY the sun's rotation? (Willingly and usually a group effort, but still.)]

I don't really know? We got this cryptic message about being able to talk again with departed friends. Some people thought it meant people from the fleet who went home others thought it meant- [the dead], well, it could mean lots of things. ANYWAY! If you wanted to talk with friends you put your name down. So, I thought I'd give it a try and said I'd like to visit a friend.

Then one day I walked through a door on the Three Twins and then the next I'm falling through the sky and have hooves instead of hands.

It's very odd. [Probably not the understatement of the year, but it's a close second.]

[Sigh.] Sounds like the Atroma alright. At least it was a GOOD twist rather than a BAD one.

Well, not everything they do is bad. Okay some of it is. But I'm glad this one turned out so great! I can't wait to meet your friends and see your home!

You said this place was called Ponyville, right? So are there only ponies in town? [Are pegasuses also ponies? He's not sure.]

Oh not JUST ponies! There's also donkeys and cows and Zecora the Zebra and Twilight's dragon spike and [Vash might wanna get some popcorn, this prattle might take a while.]

Wait-- dragons? [Really, he heard of the unicorns and pegasus so he's not sure why he's surprised.] No, never mind. That is a lot more than just ponies. [Although he notes mostly of the four legged kind.] And I bet you're friends with all of them.

Yes indeedy~! I'm friends with everypony in Ponyville!

[And she literally means everypony too. It's a miracle the mun could restrain her from trying the same in the Fleet.]

[Vash can remember ever name and face he's ever come across, but sadly can't count most of those as friends.]

And who wouldn't want to be your friend? Man, this is going to be a really big wedding, isn't it?

Weeell we're thinking a WHOLE week might be a bit much, so NOW we're looking at a ballpark of three to five days!

You know, I don't think I've been to a party that lasted more than two days or so. [And that was a celebration of a town not dying twice in a week.]
